Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

The Rebel Alliance makes a risky move to steal the plans for the Death Star, setting up the epic saga to follow.

In the first of the new stand-alone Star Wars films, Atomic Fiction teamed up with ILM to bring life to Darth Vader's castle on the fiery planet Mustafar. This consisted of creating a detailed interior environment that both figuratively and literally bridged the gap between the prequel and original trilogies. Smoke, volumetrics, and invisible enhancements were added while the studios closely collaborated on the sequence - careful not to choke on their aspirations.
